A beautifully expressive Cape Blend showing a dense, deep crimson colour. The nose is layered and complex, with aromas of dark hedgerow fruits and black cherry, supported by notes of kirsch liqueur, ripe plum, sweet baking spices and cloves. The palate is plush yet refined, with finely grained, ripe tannins providing excellent structure and balance. Flavours of red and black fruits, gentle spice and fruit pastille notes follow through seamlessly. Well-integrated new oak supports the fruit beautifully, with fresh, balanced acidity carrying the wine through to a long, elegant finish.
