R250,00
Description
Adama, which means ‘from the soil’, was the nickname of Adam Appollis, the legendary patriarch of families who have been growing vines and making wine with the Bosman family over many generations. Today these same employees own a 26% share in the entire agribusiness and land.
This white blend reflects the cellar’s long-standing dedication to environmental and social sustainability which have been part of the Bosman philosophy over many generations. Today the employees on the estate own a substantial share in the business via the Adama Workers’ trust.
Adama White is an innovative white wine, a blend of five varietals that thrive in our local climate. It is an authentic rendition of elegant, modern winemaking, paying homage to the rich heritage of the families on the farm.
The various components were vinified separately and matured in French oak for four months before being blended together.
Restrained aromas of perfumed jasmine, green apple and ginger with a lime finish. Generous flavours of stone fruit, a crisp acidity and a well-rounded mouthfeel.
