Description

Produced from specially selected vineyards and matured in small new French oak barrels for 18 months. Opaque crimson-red hue, with charming aromas of dark cherries, graphite, black pepper and fresh herbs, followed by an underlying savoury/umami tone. The palate is plush, with integrated new oak nuances and very fine, delicate tannins. An elegant and classically styled Cabernet Sauvignon with a satisfying balance between fruit and oak, and persistent flavours of buchu and blackcurrants on the finish. The perfect pairing with steak, beef short ribs, slow-braised beef dishes, butterflied leg of lamb, aged cheddar and Gouda and blue cheeses like Gorgonzola.
